Es mi segunda estancia en este hotel. La primera vez me fue muy bien, pero el hotel ha bajado de categoría. Las personas que atienden en recepción súper antipáticas, servicio deficiente. El hotel está muy bien ubicado y las habitaciones son del estándar ibis que es muy práctico para estancias cortas. A manera de anécdota casi no logro que me regalen un vaso de agua en el bar del hotel. La bartender grosera, no había vasos en recepción y fue tremenda discusión para que me dieran un vaso de agua estando hospedado allí. Muy mal!!!

Right in the centre with restaurants and bars and shopping all around. Everything is walkable from the hotel but there are busses and teams right outside. Very clean and comfortable and a great price

My daughter and I arrived in the evening after driving from Regensburg, Germany, and I wove through car and tram traffic as she navigated to Ibis Praha Old Town. We'd looked at Google Streetview ahead of time, so we knew what the parking entrance would look like as we came down the street and we "stuck the landing" on our first pass. Our rental car was an Opel Astra, which was just about as long a vehicle as one would want to take down the tight spiral ramp to hotel parking on level -3. The car's front bumper alarm was chiming while the rear tires were squealing on the curb all the way down to our level. Check in was quick and easy, including prepaying our parking. Be sure to keep the parking ticket during your stay as the hotel validates it for exit upon checkout. Our room was clean and comfortable and set back from the street, so it was also quiet. (Rooms facing the street will be noisier with tram and other traffic throughout the night.) Access to Old Town including the Powder Tower, Astronomical Clock, and other attractions were within a 5-15 minute walk, as were restaurants shops. The Prague castle and Strahov Monastery are closer to 45 minutes to an hour walk away (or take the tram), but we enjoy exploring cities on foot. Bakeries do not open early in Prague, so we stocked up on roadtrip snacks and food from the nearby grocery store the day we left Prague for Kraków. Would definitely consider this hotel again if we find ourselves back in Prague.

The hotel was great all in all. Room was small but good for European standards. We did not have a mini fridge or access to ice in our room to cool wine which was a disappointment. The bar refused to give us ice. Eventually the front desk was able to acquire a bucket of ice on our last night!!!!

The hotel is in an ideal location and has a nice entranceway and cafe. However, the room was run down and in bad condition. The toilet seat was chipped with bumps of damaged plastic. The walls were dirty and damaged, as were the curtains. The bed linen was ripped, not even slightly, but holes along edges and a 4 inch tear along the corner. The room was also stuffy and humid with some bugs.

I would give this hotel 5 Stars, but the bed was soft that had me work through lower back pain in the morning. I should have said something after the first day; that is my fault. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. I would stay here again if I could be ensured of a firm mattress.
