In the heart of town 3-5 minute walk to astronomical clock, restaurants, and attractions but quiet and safe location. Charming rooms and onsite restaurant which were clean. Highly recommend this property.

Good, clean hotel in great location. Only disappointment was that we requested 2 single beds in a deluxe suite, was told by Expedia that this was not a problem but on getting to hotel we were told there is no twin bed option in the deluxe category the only thing they could offer was a very uncomfortable sofa bed. EXPEDIA - Please be aware of this when advising other guests as we felt very mislead by you and would not have booked this option if we had known. We found the room extremely hot with no option to turn the heating off. We even had the maintenance guy to come and try and turn individual radiators off which he struggled with. We had to have the windows open all the time which for a hotel that claims to be environmental friendly is ridiculous- complete waste of energy and money.

Great location; great hotel
Great hotel; friendly staff. This place is HUGE; be sure to walk around and see it all. The included breakfast is also huge and there are 3 rooms to sit in. The restaurant serves game and other Czech dishes, but is a bit pricy. It is just off the Old City Square so is quiet and out of the rush, while very convenient.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and room. We slept very nicely. The staff was so kind and helped us when needed. Location was awesome. Walking around was simple with lots of places to eat and shop. Not far from Jewish town, National museum and around the corner from the clock!!!

We loved everything about The Iron Gate Hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful, the bar is cool and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is an ok buffet style but can be a little busy depending on timing. The location is perfect, bang in the middle of the Old Town and walking distance to most major attractions.. 100% recommended
