The staff was great! The woman at the front desk when we checked in went above and beyond to help me get my backpack returned from the Uber driver who was trying to extort me for an unreasonable amount of money to return it. We had been awake for about 24 hours at this point. I’m sorry I never saw her again the whole week but she was awesome! The room was small but comfortable, quiet and in a great location. My only complaint would be to add screen sharing for the TV and some USB chargers in the room. We had a great time, thanks!

Recommend Michelangelo Grand Hotel Prague

Great stay at this hotel. Room was very comfortable for 3 adults with one king bed and one twin bed. Excellent location within walking distance of center of town, public transportation and a shopping mall. Very varied breakfast. Only complaint is there was a bathtub instead of a walk in shower where you had to be very cautious when entering. I was told they are in process of converting all tubs to walk in showers.

Higher end old hotel off the old town in Prague. If you’re visiting as a casual tourist the location is probably as good as it gets. The staff are super helpful and the hotel has a fun air of grandeur. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location, good variety for breakfast. Great bed but…. King size bed only had double duvet so did not come to edges once you ate in bed. Although hotel was clean did not feel the rooms were made up to 5* standard during stay - used glass left in room, marks left on mirror, products not renewed once used. Despite this our stay was great. The location was perfect - very easy to access old and new town with plenty of options for food. Area was lively but this did not affect our room. Poor soundproofing so you could hear neighbours chatting and scraping furniture across floor etc.

Location in the city was fantastic. Across the street is a shopping center and access to public transportation. There are restaurants right down the street. Two blocks away is a park to enjoy quiet time. Enjoyable walk through alleyways and cut throughs to the historical city center square with the astronomical clock.

Good position, lovely reception staff who were very helpful. Fab breakfast, variety of it was amazing. Room aircon not working and the room was very warm. Bath arrangement not great. If you take a bath manoeuvrability very awkward, as the wash basin is to the side at one end of the bath and the other end of the bath is a fixed shower screen. If you had even a slight disability you would be unable to use it.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Our room was nice and very spacious, offering plenty of comfort and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent—just a short walk to shopping areas and the charming old town, making it perfect for both exploring and convenience. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast—very good selection and quality, a great way to start the day. A special mention goes to the lady at the front desk who checked us in. She was incredibly nice, friendly, and accommodating—truly a standout in hospitality. We really wish all hotel staff were as warm and welcoming as she was!
