Great value for money!!

Very comfortable beds for a restful sleep. Plenty of fresh towels for the whole family. Great continental options for breakfast. Although a slightly older establishment, the staff and owners work diligently to keep it clean. We had a very pleasant stay.

While the restaurant itself was closed for renovations, I did appreciate that free breakfast was offered for guests. The staff were pleasant and when there was an issue with our co-traveler's lock, it was quickly dealt with. I was a little surprised that decaffeinated coffee was not available though. Coffee shops were not far away and I had a "runner" to bring me a cup.

The check-in was ok, but minimal service. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but there was no attempt to point this out, or where it was located. Half the lights in the room didn't work. There was a "boil water" advisory notice, but not even one complimentary bottle of water in the room. Was directed to a $3/bottle machine. Tried to charge me $3 for a small emergency toothpaste that was in a box clearly marked as "free'.

As previews indicate, area outside suggest a rundown old motel, but the room is excellent, although no ac. I arrived late and the guy at front was not helpful about directing me about what was open; I had to rely on staff at other hotels to figure that out. Property is about 20 minute walk from best restaurants and tourist area.
