This place is like walking into the 70s. But in a fantastic way. It's cute. It feels like you're visiting grandma. It's clean, very friendly staff. The flowers and lights make for charm. The area is beautiful, and the day was perfect. The only thing i would suggest is an update on the carpet. ♡

This was our second stay here, and it’s officially our go-to place from now on. The property is spotless, peaceful, and everyone we’ve met has been so welcoming. The views are stunning, and on both visits we’ve been lucky enough to spot wildlife up close. I especially love the outdoor setup—chairs and tables right outside each room where you can relax and soak in the scenery. The beds and bedding are incredibly comfortable, and the charging station in the room is such a thoughtful touch—I haven’t seen one like it anywhere else I’ve stayed.

They advertised AC in every room but all we had was a fan. The room had a horrible musty smell. No deadbolts on doors. The carpet was very stained. The walls were paper thin, my neighbors above me kept me up. I was shocked after all of the excellent reviews they have. The one positive comment I will give them is the bed was very comfortable. Not worth $190 a night.

This town full of tiny, somewhat older motels. That is a part of the charm, particularly when you stay somewhere like this. The owners and staff are very friendly, very helpful. The property is older but well taken care of, and you can see that efforts are made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Stayed with my wife and 8 year old, went to the hot springs with discounted tickets and free towels from the hotel. Hard to go wrong in this quaint, little motel nestled in a beautiful mountain town.

My girlfriend and I were only able to stay here for a single night, but we both wish we had spent more time at the Gables motel and more time in Radium Hot Springs in general. The owner Tom was a delight to chat with. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and his knowledge of the town. He gave us great food recommendations and even hustled to get us towels and tickets to the hot springs before they closed after our dinner ran long. The motel is easily within walking distance of the town. I cannot recommend it enough.

We stayed for one night. The location is excellent, and the building has a charming exterior, although it's clearly older and could use some updates—especially the bathroom. The unit has carpet, which adds to the dated feel. When we arrived to check in, the host was chatting with another guest. Although we were acknowledged, we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to complete the check-in process, which felt too long. On the bright side, check-out was simple—just a quick key drop-off. Free Wi-Fi and on-site parking were definitely a plus.

Definitely a place to tag for future stays

The host was very amiable, and gave us an in-depth overview of all the area offerings, which we very much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. I love the cute added touches, such as the decorative lighting, the grill out/patio area, the individual patio tables and all the beautiful flowers. Keep up the good work and great hospitality!
