I stayed here for one night with my dog after the highway was closed overnight at Rogers Pass on sept. 29th. Last minute booking and arrived after 8pm. Staff was super friendly!
Room was clean, spacious, linens and towels were were clean and the bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast was good, loved the waffles. Resort grounds are beautiful. Pet friendly too.
Cons:
It is a winter resort so if you're here in the off season, there is no restaurant and you need to drive the 12 minutes into Revelstoke to get food.
Lobby closes early so no elevator up to the rooms and you need to use outside stairs which could be an issue for those with mobility issues or with a lot of stuff.
Hot breakfast in the off season doesn't include eggs or meat (cold hard boiled eggs and cold ham slices/cheese are provided)
Had an issue with some kind of tiny fly in the bathroom. Not just a few but dozens; seem to increase with shower use. I was refunded my pet deposit ($30) for this inconvenience but would've liked to see a bit more refunded given the room was $265 per night in the off season.
Room was a bit chilly and no ability to turn up heat or use the fireplace.
Freezer wasn't working great and the more frozen food that I had, defrosted quite a bit.
Extremely loud between rooms. I could hear the tv and conversations clear as day from the room nextdoor.
I didn't use the pool or hot tub because they were closed at 9pm
Overall an okay stay but I wouldn't recommend in the off season
This is a beautiful looking beautiful looking building and space. The inside is a little outdated but still looked really nice. Rooms were also a little outdated but, they were clean and comfortable. We did find a beetle or two in our room, which we read from other reviews, but you are out in the middle of the wilderness, I wasn't shocked by the bugs. The hotel was also easy to find since it is a little out of town. Morning breakfast was small but plenty enough for us.
The staff are friendy. The outide of the facility isnt being kept up, and is showing its age. The onsite restaurant is only open when there are a large number of guests. The location is quite a distance from any restaurants, requiring a 15 minute drive. The hot tub was down for maintenance. It was also down for maintenence when I stayed there in the spring. The breakfast was continental only. The juice machine was out of order.

Found many stink bugs in our rooms upon arrival, the staff did assist in removing them.
Overall very clean and very comfortable bed. Included breakfast was good. Property is a little dated but wasn’t an issue for us. We had a very big room with a balcony that had a good view. No complaints whatsoever!
Hey there had an amazing awesome weekend first time there. The cabin was so beautiful clean. The staff was amazing always there friendly. And they were dog friendly which so so awesome. And there was lots of parking. Over all it was the best place to get away from the city and just enjoy what Canada has in the mountains area
Loved our room and how big it was enjoyed the pool and hot tub. What we didnt like was, the stink bugs in our room, the dirty floor in the bathroom, the a/c going on and off all night.

An older resort in need of updating.
The staff provided excellent service re check in and providing us with wine glasses, tea bags and towels on request.
The breakfast was terrible, unappetizing sausages and bacon, the eggs were very dry as over cooked. The tables were not cleaned between guests and there was no one in sight to assist with this.
It's nice quiet.we stayed in cabin with hot tub. Water is just warm. Need a whole night to warm up hotter. Breakfast is nice hot meals. Overall we enjoyed it.

Great location!!! But room not so much ..we had room with the balcony and we liked the space but room wasnt very clean and air conditioner was soo loud we coupdnt sleep till 5 am and we asked late checkout becouse we were exhausted and they denied. Although hotel was pretty empty and they weren't busy . We wanyed to have dinner at around 8 pm but we couldn't find service stuff for like a 30 minutes untill there was one man in tje kitchen who got our order for a room service. Loved the receptionist was very lovely and helpful and that one person who worked in the kitchen .. mountains view is amazing and quiet location we enjoyed.
