My family really loved it here, a very special place. Excellent value. This is a no-brainer, stay here, its incredibly beautiful for a low price. Historical, classical. Beautiful garden and landscaping. Food options are limited, given its remoteness and Canada's awful economy which can't really even allow a restaurant to function. Food is perfunctory, if you are planning something special, BYO food or travel to Revelstoke.

This is one of the most UNIQUE properties we have stayed in. Amazing views. Attached Ghost town(well worth a visit) two dining options, kayak rentals, beach, views, train to take you on short trips and trains collection, waterfalls, river on property, owner created hydro dam that powers the entire place, library for guests, full size snooker table, beautiful pool and titanic mural, complimentary ping pong friendly staff and affordable massage chairs in lobby. Antiques all over the place. House cats. It fiend end. Can’t wait to return and spend more time as a guesf

My wife and i have been driving by this place for many years, mostly because we were on our way somewhere, always saying we should stay their one day. Well last night we did, it was excellent, rooms were clean, lots of cool things on the property. The admission price for the ghost town next store is discounted when staying at the hotel, its more like a historic village, it took us two hours to go thru and we were going fast, you could easly spend part of a day. What can i say about the location everwhere you look is incredible nature. We will definitely come again.

This place is so dreamy and charming. The hotel is dated BUT very clean, the beds are comfy and the antique-looking furnitures add so much character to it. The garden and the beach are the best part... We love how well maintained this location is. The staff were all very friendly and kind and helpful. There are so much to do for kids - they have a little library which is such a treat to my little bookworms. Definitely a place for REAL rest and relaxation. We love it here!

The Chateau is dated but clean. The bed was very firm and you cannot get wifi in your room, but they do have wifi around hot spots on the property. On a long weekend we spend $197 for one night, which for the dated facility is somewhat high.
