The parking lot was so dark I thought it was closed. The room was clean but all the furniture was damaged included ripped curtains and old towels. And the heat smelled like cigarettes.

The room was fine, but there was no fan in the bathroom and the showerhead leaked. Additionally carpet in the hallways needed replacing.

Excellent place to stay for a week
We came to visit with our daughter and her family for Thanksgiving. This hotel is close to their house and we stayed there before several years before. We were very happy with our room. the beds and pillows were comfortable. The drawers were large and there was a platform that fit both our suitcases. I really liked having a sofa and a lamp next to it. There was enough light. It was warm and at night it was a bit too warm and we had to turn the heat down. We would definitely stay there again.

Reasonable Pricing; Clean & Comfortable.. but...
We love the convenience of this hotel and have stayed here for years. They seem to have done some updates since we visited before Covid in 2019. Unfortunately, this most recent trip we had a bit of a situation with the front desk charging my room for a vending item. When I went to ask and said that I did not charge that, she said my companion did. I knew that was not true but he was able to join the conversation and stated that for himself. We were treated very poorly, accused of being aggressive when I was not at all.. then the woman actually said she did not feel safe. It was preposterous. I'm a 60 year old woman who has traveled quite a bit and was merely stating that the charge needed to be removed, else I would simply go above them and contact corporate... at which time they said they were not a corporate hotel. As long as that sign is out there, they certainly are beholden to the brand. Oh well. One bad interaction over 10-15 years of almost annual trips through to see family.

We have mixed reviews on this property, the night before we checked in we received a call after 9pm to let us know our card didn’t go thru (my credit card was hacked) we were going to use a different one at check in, I usually book now pay later. Anyways they told me I had to pay now or they were canceling my reservation was not a fan of that at all. We got there no issues with check in after our 10 he drive. Room was bigger then I thought that was a plus, some detail to upkeep the room would be good but it was clean, microwave had rust and not the best inside of it but we just opted not to use that. Breakfast Saturday was disappointing they had biscuits and gravy which was fine, waffles after waiting the full time were not done all the way so took a bite of batter, orange juice was really watered down and well the whole milk was chunky and we opened it and it had not been cleaned, I couldn’t tell you when by then I lost my appetite and didn’t eat. Sunday for breakfast was better sausage was good and I left the waffles in a full extra rotation to cook and that was better. My son tried to talk to a house keeper to ask for something unfortunately they didn’t speak English. All in all it was a good hotel we can get over breakfast issues. It was safe and clean and room was big :)
