The room smelled like sewage possibly because it was in the basement, but other than this the room was immaculate and the shower was lovely. I wish the towel warmer worked. The staff were excellent, especilly Maria. She was very knowledgeable about Spain and Portugal since she used to be a flight attendant. We talked to her for a while.

Wonderful old grist mill. Wonderful grounds to walk on. Evening meal was easily 3-4 star Michelin rating. Breakfast buffet was excellent but the cook would also cook a breakfast to order. Then to top it off they drove us back to our drop off point. Wonderful respite for weary Camino travelers

Our stay at Casa Lourido was amazing. Mercè was so welcoming and accommodating. The room and bathroom were super clean. Even in the heatwave, we slept well at night with the window open. The gardens around the indoor yard are gorgeous and there is plenty of seating to enjoy the nature. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The area around the property was calm, beautiful and fun to explore and getting to A Coruña is an easy drive. We would stay here again anyday! Gracias por todo!

I have always given great reviews for travel stays if well deserved, but in this case I have to say…. In retrospect it was a very beautiful hotel but a disappointing experience because the staff did not address my concerns in a timely manner & questioned the facts about my complaint. I was getting bitten by bugs in the room we stayed in over the course of the three days of stay & they determined that they were not to be considered at fault. So I can not in good conscience give this hotel a positive review.
