The hotel has great air conditioning! I was there during a heat wave & the room temperature could be adjusted unlike some other nearby hotels. The staff was polite and helpful. The tram is right outside the front door and only 3 stops to the train station. My only suggestion is to have a mini fridge. It would have been helpful for cold drinks and snacks during the heat wave.

I stayed there for 6 nights while exploring the Jungfrau area and I made a good choice. First, the everchanging lake view from the balcony was awesome. I could never get tired of it, because it kept changing with the weather and lighting. The single room was small, but I didn't care; it had everything I needed. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast had all the standard fare as well as fries, which seemed odd. Also nice view while eating breakfast. I did not try out any spa or exercise room activities. It is a bit remote, and while there was frequent bus service I think a car is most appropriate. I was there in June, 2026, and the restaurant did not really serve dinner. Some snack type fare was available.

Great breakfast, great location, interesting architecture and fine building

Disappointing and the property is much simpler than the pictures. Surprised there were no toilet seats in some toilets, the toilet lid in our room is broken, there is no ac so a single fan is supplied which was very difficult to position on 3 people. We asked for another but they did not give us one. The towels supplied for the pool were stained with what appeared to be makeup. The complimentary mini body cream and gel were half empty. Shower would often go cold or scolding in seconds. The pool was nice to use but one of the days without warning it was getting cleaned from 7ish AM to 11:30am or so. Why not clean outside of hours? Was very disappointing as we weren't informed and got the hotel for the pool. Please do not eat breakfast here if you can, it was so sad especially the pancakes with "red berries". They are in fact three very small and thin flavourless pancakes drenched in sweet and poor quality red jam. The bread we had was stale and we only got 1 small 330ml water bottle for 3 people. You can get more which is good but everything takes a lot of effort to "correct" when added together. The boiled eggs we ordered were overcooked and grey, served on a pile of salt which was odd and not pealed which isn't great. The salmon dish ordered wasn't very nice either. It was just disappointing. We did enjoy the views of course, nice to have a shuttle and the mini croissants provided at breakfast but it was just not nutritious, we struggled with the amount of sweets provided

The Hotel is in a beautiful location and first impressions are superb. There is a small plaque suggesting that’s it’s a boutique hotel where I would rate it less so. It lacks such detail and finesse. Our family room for four was inadequate in terms of a small sofa bed. They should have family suites. The staff are all happy yet they could do with more training and again finesse on the personal service side - particularly at the restaurant where we felt ignored at times. The younger staff being better than those above them. The reception staff were great. The restaurant has a limited menu and is expensive, so most opt for the cheaper yet delicious pizzas. No pasta or salad to choose from and the other dishes are very small. There is no real, cozy/elegant/boutique bar area, just one that is an unmanned, used to service the restaurant. Breakfast is amazing but again, the breakfast area could be so much more homely and elegant - airing boutique. There is a shuttle to town but nothing late so you have to get a taxi back which isn’t easy or great. I would try another hotel in the same area again first but would definitely go back. It would be great to see these improvements to give it a higher rate and review.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, the attention to detail on the rooms is insane. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Just has a weak AC but I’ll blame that on the Europe heatwave
