The staff they have need a big raise they are understaffed and doing everything possible to accommodate everyone while being extremely polite the hospitality was great. Quality inn you need major improvements / updates too the rooms.Possibly complete renovation, there is a lot of water damage and mold in the rooms some baseboards and walls were wet and soft to the touch and carpets stayed damp. I hope quality inn takes this review seriously and takes care of their employees and property.

Staff are very helpful and pleasant especially the guy in the reception area. Really close to known landmarks such as piedras blancas lighthouse, elephant seal vista, Ragged point scenic view and Salmon Creek Falls. About 10 minutes away from Hearst Castle visitor center where you ride the bus for the castle tour. Only downside is that they don’t have AC.

Friendly staff, satisfying breakfast, coffee all day. Easy check in and clean rooms, right next to the beach. If you are a light sleeper, make sure to bring ear plugs! The walls are thin and there were barking dogs and crying babies around us, and could hear the neighboring room conversation through the wall.

There seemed to be homeless people living in this hotel as there was bbq and blackstone grills on the ground floor rooms which we were told werent available. I have a handicapped plaquerd and they couldnt accomodate that either. Apparently there was a flood that tore out their parking lot. Pictures on Expedia do not look like this hotel. Very disappointing.

We had a great stay. The general manager was kind & attentive when we asked for extra towels & sheets. The fire pit by the pool was an added bonus while drinking our morning coffee. The area was very quiet. The rooms were ordinary, but clean & the breakfast offered was traditional Anerican. We would stay here again.

Edward was very friendly, efficient and accommodating upon check-in. Hotel is a little worn due to salt air but clean. No A/C in room so patio door stayed open all night allowing noise to be part of the evening.

Review of San Simeon and Santa Clara Quality Inns.

We stayed at the Quality Inn in San Simeon on two different nights. The check-in persons on both days were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed one night at the Quality Inn in Santa Clara. Our stay there was not as nice. We were affronted by a woman who had been evicted. The woman checking us in took her sweet time while the lady continued to vent her complaints to us. It was a very uncomfortable situation for us. The lady at the desk heard the complaints being spewed by the woman who was very loud. Having witnessed this woman’s behavior she put her in the room next to ours. That woman was outside continuing to complain to people who came to see her. She was so loud and disruptive. It didn’t stop until 9:30 p.m. This inn was not very nice. Breakfast was not as good. The check-in people were not nice. I will not book at that Quality Inn again.

Mr. E. Herrera was very nice, helpful, and friendly. He made checking in easy and was pleasant when we would see him around. Breakfast options delicious. Our room was very clean and had a great view. I'd go back again.
