Ragged Point Inn and Resort
Room had a great ocean view even though it said partial ocean view. Lovely property. Room was clean, staff very hospitable. FYI cell service doesn’t work at all around much of Big Sur and neither does WiFi.

Silver Surf Motel
This hotel has bed bugs staff wouldn't help,and manager has been avoiding my calls and emails. I now have to wash everything I brought into room and detail my vehicle. I had to prove it so I have 2 dead bugs in my possession totally gross and un acceptable . I want my money back.

We stayed 1 night on our coastal driving trip. Very clean, conveniently located to hearst castle. Check in efficiently handled. Most comfortable beds thus far on this trip. Bonus of ocean views!

The room was clean and the staff are helpful. I love that there is a microwave and ref in the room. There are also multiple outlets to plug your devices and best of all, wifi is free! San Simeon Lodge
Great location with walkable beach access. The rooms are old and outdated. The carpet floors were so soiled I didn’t want to take my shoes off, the cabinet to the refrigerator wouldn’t close, no AC and the toilet ran the entire night because the water bowl wouldn’t fill up all the way.

Comfort Inn near Hearst Castle - Cambria
It is an OK position to stay there. The room was clean, but one of the blenders was damaged. The manager was very nice and responsive. He changed us to another room, whose condition is better. However, the microwave and refrigerator didn't work. We just lived with this.

Check-in was easy. Room was spacious. Everything was clean. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast included some hot items (sausage, eggs, pancakes and waffles). Good central location. Staff friendly and helpful.
