All I needed was to sleep for the night booked through Expedia got there said it was for the 16th it was baby I needed a room then at 2am not 3pm he said he would make the change but expedia has to call them except they had Expedia blocked so when the agent tried to conraxt them no call went through do they wouldn’t refund me or change it for me and when someone finally got through the next day the hotel still refused to refund me even though they had expedias number blocked front desk guy seemed shady and seemed like he deliberately was trying to avoid the situation to get me to have to pay for a room all over again would not recommend
I stayed here because there wasn’t a lot of bad reviews and I needed something quick and cheap. Learned my lesson and won’t be doing that again. It’s very very close to the border so it’s really ghetto all around. But it’s a Motel 6 what can you expect? When we went into the room to unload our things, my kids took off their shoes and ran around the room. The room has vinyl wood floor. Both my kids feet were black, the floors were so dirty. Also we couldn’t deadbolt the door because the door frame had a visible gap towards the bottom. Made us feel a little unsafe especially at the location we were at. When I reported this to the manager the next morning, he barely paid any attention to me. He seemed upset at me, which is crazy.
When I got into the room, the tv was on, the bathroom like it had just been used and the bed covers were dirty. One of the pillow covers had dry blood stains in it. I went to the front office to report this to the front desk clerk but he was busy arguing with a lady there so I had to wait. This is what made me not stay for the night , I told them I would like to go somewhere else and asked for a refund. The hotel manager agreed to this but said I would have to go through the third party booking company. He also went to the room to verify the condition and took the cleaning lady so that she could see the covers. I thought this was unprofessional. Anyways, I then called my booking company to get a refund but a different person (next day office clerk) didn't answer expedia calls. I called him to see why and explained to him what had happened the day before. He said he didn't know anything and that I would have to wait to verify the incident because according to him, I was there for about 45 minutes rather than 20 which is what the whole situation actually took. He told me to let expedia do their job in a rude tone and also asked me what color was the blood stain. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I've never had an experience like this one before.
Stayed for a few hours prior to our early flight thru CBX .. quick easy only thing I would complain about is the amount of time it to get deposit back ..
