Dog friendly, great location in the countryside. Very good food and great accommodation. Honestly could not fault any part of my stay. Was definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in and will be back.

We had a lovely 2 day stay with our dog at the Bear’s Paw. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and our dog even had a bonus sausage. We had an evening meal there and the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back!

The property is very tastefully decorated and is situated in a beautiful spot. The staff were all very helpful and the breakfast which was included was lovely. Next time, we'll bring our dog and do some of the suggested walks.

Kayleigh and Charlotte and the whole front of house team and kitchen staff were wonderful, as were the service team, cleaning and prepping the rooms. The whole place was immaculate. As an “accidental” find , this was a pure joy!!!

A great little gem of an Inn.

We stayed here as we don't like the big chain hotels, we prefer an independently owned as they have so much more character. We chose the Bear's Paw in order to visit Trentham Gardens and the National Memorial Arboretum even though both were a drive away. Lovely old inn, had a great dinner and breakfast here. We had our dog with us, who was welcome wherever we were.

Wow, where do I start. I stay in a lot of hotels in the country and I have to say this place just makes me feel so welcome. To me it's perfect, great room and fantastic food. The staff are also always pleasant and professional. This is why I stay here every week whilst working in Crewe.

Great country Inn
