We really enjoyed our stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort, but I wanted to share some advice about transportation that may help future visitors. If you’re planning to travel from the resort toward Horseshoe Bay Beach or Hamilton using the public bus, don’t rely on it as your only transportation. During busy times, the buses are often already full by the time they reach the resort, due to cruise ships and they may pass by without stopping because they have no room for additional passengers. This happened to us more than once. If you plan to explore the island frequently, you may want to consider renting a scooter or another form of transportation. If you choose a scooter, be extra cautious. Bermuda’s roads are narrow, winding, and can be challenging, especially for riders who are not experienced. Also, always be prepared for changing weather. Bermuda’s weather can change very quickly, with brief rain showers appearing and disappearing within minutes. Carrying a light rain jacket or small umbrella is a good idea, even if the day starts out sunny. Hopefully this helps future visitors plan ahead and enjoy everything Bermuda has to offer.

Best beach ever!!! Wow!

My husband, son and I had a delightful stay at the Rosedon. The staff were very courteous and the rooms were very comfortable. We spent a good amount of time by the pool which was relaxing and the pool staff were attentive. We will be back!

Service at the restaurant for breakfast was terrible! Staff NEVER came by after delivering what was ordered. If you needed something you had to get up and wave them down. Often you had to ask for things 2 times before it was delivered. Front desk staff were little or no help when it came to set up car rental or taxis. We had to get our taxis on our own. The property was a little dated. Poolside furniture were not in good shape. Meals at poolside were delivered in take out containers even though there was a sit down area for meals right next to the bar. Room furniture was also dated and needed a refresh. I would not stay at Newstead again. This is not what expected for $1,000 a night hotel.

Staff was very helpful and considerate
