The rooms need a renovation, just changing the doors and the carpet in the stairs. Staff was really nice and helpful. The room was not so clean. It was very affordable and close to main sightseeing.

Very nice rooms, great location, very clean

Food was very good, staff were friendly enough, pool area was clean, bar was ok. Rooms were a bit dated. Two single beds pushed together, not what we asked for! Cleaners were hard working as were the bar staff. Had to pay for the safe that was already in room which I have never had anywhere I have been before. This was after telling us that the Spa was not open for the whole week we were staying! This was one of the main reasons we picked this resort! We were then told we could use other hotels but would obviously be charged! We were never notified before we arrived, when asked via email if we could upgrade room, we were simply told they couldnt do anything as we booked via third party and to go to them! No help what so ever! Don't bother with sea view room, just black rocks! The local people were lovey and although we were there just to relax and chill out and have a nice few spa sessions! [Not] so didnt do much site seeing. But what we did see was lovely and wish we had a bit more time to see more. Would I go back to Tenerrife? Absolutely! This hotel! Nope! Tried to get compensation the hotel simply denied responsibility and said spa was open now!? Brilliant! Dont usually leave reviews like this, but people shouldn't have to have to go through the same!

The location was great, tons of food options around. The rooms can get extremely hot and stuffy as the AC doesn't seem to be the best and sometimes even question if it is actually working. They now charge an absorbent amount for parking, I remember going here 2 years ago and was charged less than half of what I was charged this time. It cost 320 euro for parking for 2 weeks. Otherwise the rooms and all common areas were very clean and overall I had a good stay.

L’hôtel se situe dans un endroit incroyablement beau, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien entretenues malgré quelques signes de vieillissement, Globalement le personnel est plutôt sympathique et serviable bien que parfois un peu rustre, ce qui peut s’expliquer par le grand nombre de résidents et les exigences de qualité de l’hôtel. un bémol l’absence de place de Parking à l’hôtel. Nous avons quand même réussi à trouver des places aux alentours gratuites. Peut-être que j’y retournerai hors saison, ça devrait être plus détendu

We stayed at the Gran Melia Palacio Isora in August 2026 (2 adults & 15 year old). The hotel is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve ever stayed in with the pool area a particular highlight. The staff are all incredibly friendly, whether that be in the restaurants, bars, housekeeping or pool attendants - they are a credit to the hotel and we cannot praise them highly enough. We stayed in a deluxe pool facing room which was huge and had every amenity we could need. The bathrooms were spotless and the balcony was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. The hotel also accommodated our request for hypoallergenic bedding. My only quibble with the room was that the beds are on the firm side - careful if you’re used to a softer mattress. The food in all restaurants was a very high standard and service was super quick. You do need to be quick booking the Italian or Nami on the app (we booked as soon as we checked in but by the following morning, everything was booked up). We would recommend you bring some cans of insect repellent as the flies around the pool area and in the restaurants are persistent and will give you a little nibble. However, they leave you alone when bug spray is applied. We’d also suggest getting a taxi to Los Gigantes (10-15 mins) and doing one of the whale and dolphin tours. The Flipper UNO tour we went on was a highlight. Overall, this is an incredibly beautiful hotel, with some of the finest staff in all of Europe. Highly recommended.
