Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Other than being "old fashion" in appearance our room was clean, smelled clean nightly and we had requested no room cleaning service until we checked out and also we definitely did not experience any type of bugs for being an older hotel. We are CountryConcert fans and this hotel provide a very inexpensive and easy drive to the concert. We 3 females enjoyed they attentive staff. Thankyou.
Extremely polite staff, although horribly horrific people staying here. Random knock at door at 12:30 AM, scaring my girls and i. My daughter was approached by a man staying there and followed us, trying to hit on my 14 yr old. Just not a good family area
You get what you pay for lol I just needed a place to crash ,but overall not a bad hotel they just need some updates like new t.v’s,shower, etc, they still have box t.v instead flatscreen like most. If your just looking for place to crash&save money this is the right spot. Only pro is its on maine street about 4-5mins away from downtown, near the bars
We literally turned around and left. The building was in horrible condition. All the blinds were closed. The driveway was like driving through a mine field. There was one car in the parking lot at 7pm at night. It literally looked like an abandoned building.
Not at all what is described and is a "MOTEL" that doesn't look as if it is open and smells and looks like mold . Roof is caving in and has a drive thru for check in. All in all this is not even something that should be opened or accepting guests
The driveway into this place was so bad, our truck and trailer were bouncing around. The exterior was not pleasing either. We did not go in. The quote "do not judge a book by its cover" certainly did not apply here, especially after I looked at the photo posted on the website. Shame on Expedia for even offering this place!
Older motel. Lots of weekly & monthly renters. No room service or towel exchange. No refrigerator or microwave. Quiet area, plenty of parking. Staff members very nice & friendly.
This facility was not acceptable. The room was filthy. The carpet was stained. We slept in our clothes and refused to walk on the carpet without shoes. We didn't even shower in the morning. Got right up and left.
The lady working was very kind, however.
We wouldn't have stayed but it was so late and we had several hours to get home. There were 3 events going on so there were actually no hotels room available from Cincinnati to Piqua. The lady working said it would probably be several more miles until hotel rooms opened up.
My son and I recently stayed at the Red Carpet Inn at 9060 Country Club Road in Piqua, Ohio.
This room was totally filthy and not fit to stay in. Although we had no chance in changing rooms when we saw the condition of this one. It was race weekend at Eldora Speedway and all rooms around were booked within 50 miles. The carpet was so dirty, your socks got dirty. There was hair on the bed sheets. The ceiling had water stains. The tub was dirty and the water would drain very slowly when showering, leaving you standing in ankle deep, dirty water. There was no room service: room was not cleaned and no clean towels were delivered the next day. It was 2:00 A.M. when we got back from the race at a dirt track and we were covered with dirt and had no clean towels to dry off with after a shower. The night attendant told us that we would have to wait until morning to get clean towels because the linen closet was locked and room service was the only one who could get into it. There was no shampoo or tissues in the room when we arrived. The parking lot was overgrown with weeds. This place should be inspected by the health department and torn down because it is a health hazard.
We made arrangements to arrive late as we were racing. Upon arrival..the neighborhood was dark. There were doors standing open and no one was in the office that had bars on the windows. My 15 yr old grandson said the place looked too scary to stay in. And in reality when I called hotels.com to book I wanted to book at the Red Roof Inn. Unfortunately I did not check my confirmation email -my bad. So..because I did not cancel 24 hours in advance they charged my card for the 2 rooms that we had booked. There was no way we could have known about this prior to arrival
