Owner was friendly and helpful. Place was cozy and clean. We were only staying for a short while, but had no issues at all. It is an older motel, so just bare that in mind if you are staying there.

Not for me

This place is disgusting. We booked 3 rooms for 3 individuals at a cost of $100 per room plus tax. I am sorry I am all for the little entrepreneur attempting to keep up and this is why we chose this place, but it was horrible, and should probably be torn down and rebuilt. The hotel is drastically run down and the online pictures were obviously taken many many years ago. And I am not sure how it has the rating it has First of all the hotel appeared to be vacant, yet appararently sold out. Then we find out that rooms could not be together as they have had to “close a few rooms”. I know why now. One of the rooms we could not have a key for, for awhile, as the last individual that rented did not return it but was on way back to return the key as he lived in town. Which makes you wonder why someone that lives locally needs a hotel room.? The owner / manager offered a discount if we would run to the local hardware store to get a key made. One room the bathroom was horrendous as there is mold under the bathroom sink, the tub was rusted and appeared to be cleaned a few decades ago.The towels were brown in colour and unable to see if they were clean.I have used portapotties that were less disgusting. One room had a giant bug on the wall , yes we took pictures, Another room a bug ran across the bed. The end result is one room was not used at all as I drove an hour to a distant relative house to sleep on the couch, one room the occupant could not stay in and was up all night a

Bathtub faucet and drain could use an upgrade, but it was perfectly usable, especially since we were just there for the one night. We were provided with slightly early check-in, which was good, as we had to be at a wedding within the hour.
