It’s a basic hotel. It’s spacious with free parking! It has a pool as well. I like it as it is quiet area. Need to upgrade beds and pillows as it’s a bit hard and pillows are not fluffy. Also towels are discolored from being old. Aside from that the staff are amazing

Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan is a beautiful tropical resort with immaculate grounds and one of the friendliest, most welcoming staffs I’ve experienced. The property truly feels like a tropical escape. The beach isn’t a traditional sandy beach, as there are rocks when entering the water, but it’s still beautiful, and I enjoyed seeing tropical fish while swimming. The resort has several restaurants, although the food was somewhat hit or miss. I wanted to give this resort five stars, but a few things held it back. Service was usually excellent, but there were times when it was difficult to get someone’s attention to order food or drinks. The rooms were also noisier than expected. I could hear the air conditioner, neighboring villa doors, and occasional music from nearby. The villa was nice and comfortable, but I would have appreciated a comfortable chair or small couch. My room overlooked a nicely landscaped garden, but beyond that was just a wall. The location is very secluded. There isn’t anything within walking distance, so you’ll need a taxi to go anywhere. The surrounding neighborhood is much more modest than the resort itself. The gym yoga mats were worn and should be replaced or cleaned more regularly. I also found the spa to be overpriced for the experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with wonderful staff that could easily earn five stars with a few improvements.

I booked one family room for the wedding it was nice and all staffs are helpful

A day before check in I received my instructions . I arrived around 9pm and unloaded my luggages and talked to concierge only to find out the unit was occupied. I called the number provided but calls get dropped. No apologies. The concierge tried calling same no answer the concierge apologized but it wasn’t her responsibility that someone messed up. She, got a text message only and was informed that they will reach out to me- but after 30 min, no email received nor sent an email to apologize about the mistake of double booking. My booking was not last minute . I booked this unit since May. I was informed then by concierge that owner/ broker is talking to Expedia and that he/she is on a meeting (it was 0930 pm) Almost an hour I waited in the lobby , I booked another hotel. A day after, I received an email asking me how was my stay and if I needed anything to call them. I told them the inconvenience it caused me. They apologized about the automated text. At the end of my supposed stay it asked again about my stay. I understand it’s automated - apparently there is a problem with the booking system. It needs to get fixed to prevent future issues and inconvenience to travelers.
