We stayed at Sandman hotel for a 4-day ski trip.The location of the hotel is pretty convenient, and it's right by the highway. The drive from Sandman to Whistler on weekends can be hectic, so I would recommend you to leave Squamish by 7AM or earlier. There are a reasonable amount of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The room we stayed is spacious and well-supplied. The continental breakfast included was average, and I wish it had more protein options than hard boiled eggs

Checked in with big group of family kids and had a great time! Nice mountain view, helpful staff, and pool has a hot tub as well as water slide. The rooms are pretty clean and furnishings and fixtures well maintained. We stayed for breakfast which was very good- fair variety of food/ drinks to choose and the staff kept the dining area tidy

Anniversary getaway.

We came to get away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It is such a beautiful area with all the scenery. The continental breakfast was nice. Access to the different tourist activity is great. The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk employees were very nice. One little complaint was that there was a dog who started barking at about 06:30. I don’t understand why the owners didn’t hush it up. It barked for quite a while. I love dogs and appreciate that owners need places who will let them stay. A little consideration would have been appreciated. Otherwise all good.
