We had a short but very nice stay at the Lakeside Motel. Everything was clean, tidy, & the unit was well maintained, gardens were lovely too. Would stay again and would highly recommend to others.

Overall ok, as there are 2 more beds in living room. Toilet abit inconvenient, and limit area to bath, otherwise it has a nice balcony to view the lake

Amazing views of the lake. I loved sitting out on the balcony sipping a wine in the evenings and a coffee in the mornings. Well appointed rooms with all the things you need. the bathroom especially was new and modern. The entire property is well maintained and presented. Friendly staff. Good parking. Great location, 5 mins walk to the main street with all the things you need. Did I mention the views of the lake. I had a great stay and this motel is a great base to explore the region by car and the town by foot.

Our host at reception was excellent — warm, welcoming, friendly and very helpful. While this is a basic motel, it had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay in a wonderful town.

My family of 3 stayed in the 1 bedroom garden suite. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side. Looked like the motel was recently renovated so everything was neat and clean. Overall our stay was comfortable.

We had such a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel.The staff were lovely, very helpful when I needed help with wi fi. Our room was really big, so comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The view over the lakes and mountains is absolutely beautiful and the town is within easy walking distance with everything you need. The Ranch serves fantastic food, we ate there twice in 2 days which says it all. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great view! We’re able to add a day on our booking with ease. Friendly staff, no issues during stay. Wifi a little spotty but otherwise works well! No issues with hot water or shower pressure which is always loved after a hike! Would stay again and highly recommend

This was a family week away to relax and enjoy the best of NZ. We love Te Anau and have stayed here previously and as always loved our stays here. The rooms are always so warm without the need for additional heating. I left my glasses behind and the motel said they would post them back to me in Auckland which was a huge relief ( still waiting to receive them but I am hopeful). It was nice to see so much tourism back in the region. Thank you for a great stay
