Situated very close to the lake, and just on the edge of the town, made for quite a tranquil stay. The chalets very basic and small inside. The interior was very tired. This was fine for our short stay, as we really just needed a bed for the night. However, I would have not enjoyed staying for a week or longer. On the positives, the bed was very comfortable. The chalet had enough basic amenities - fridge, 2 plate hob, microwave, basic utensils etc. The local communal laundry and cooking areas were great. In short it was functional and inexpensive so can't really complain, but you would be disappointed if your were looking for glamping.

Stunning location and luckily a jawdropping sunset in our stay. Kitchen utensils need an upgrade and wifi didn’t work in our bedroom which made preparing the next day a challenge Bathroom and shower was brilliant though

Location is a bit outside the main part of the town, but very walkable. I think it was 15 minutes to the edge of the shopping/dining area. Great town! We rented a studio, and it was what I expected for a holiday park...dated, but very clean. It was comfortable, and I would stay again, because everything else in Te Anau was way more expensive. The property has great facilities for campers!!

We had booked a deluxe room and were not disappointed. With the beautiful view over the lake, and the general roominess and amenities, it was well worth it. While I can't remember the name of the gentleman who checked us in, I would love to give him a special mention as he managed to give us a room upstairs that was actually easier to access than the downstairs room I had originally booked. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation at Lakeview Holiday Park and Hotel was a big letdown. The photos online were misleading — the place looked nothing like what was advertised. The walls are paper-thin, and the wooden floors make it easy to hear every single step from other rooms. It was noisy and uncomfortable the whole time. The only upside was the friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately, the accommodation itself was terrible. Would not stay again

Great spot to stay.

Great place to stay on the edge of town. About a 15 minute walk along the lake to get to the Main Street with shops. Has tracknet office on site handy if using to do a walk or need transport to and from area. Close to the DOC visitor centre. Great bathroom facilities. Large kitchen to use and has ample washing machine/dryers. Friendly staff.
