Location on Grand Canal is great! Hotel has own private dock if you’re coming or leaving by private water taxi. Vaporetto stop is right there too. A very ornate old palazzo - rooms a bit tired but clean. All period furnishings. Nice bathroom amenities. We walked everywhere from there. Let front desk show you on map how to get where you want to go. AI is not always correct!!!

Nice breakfast. La Bauta restaurant also very good, room was a bit small but overall a good experience

The power went off twice, the water went out once, the shower never worked properly, and there was a cosmetic hole in one of the walls. Other than that, the place was honestly pretty good - clean, reasonably quiet, well appointed, friendly and helpful staff, fabulous location.

If you want understated luxury this is the hotel for you.
