This place provided a very decent double room with private bathroom considering the price. During the week then beer terrace and downstairs taproom are closed, which seems a bit counterintuitive for something advertised as a "beer hotel". The location is very close to a metro station but quite a rough street, certainly late at night. Ultimately cannot complain given the price.

First, after entering our room, we tried to turn on the A/C but unfortunately it wasn’t working. We went to the front desk who told us that they were having issues with the entire building however we found out differently from a friend who was staying on the floor below us. They did eventually move us the following day. We would have been happy with opening the sliding glass door at night but there was no screen door (mosquitoes were bad) and the street traffic noise was really bad throughout the night even with the door closed.

I enjoyed the hotel. I asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what I got. There are a few things I would recommend to the hotel to improve. First the lighting....The lights in the living room, dining area, and bathroom were rather dim LED lights which did not quite give enough brightness. I would have been great if the living room had at least one lamp which could be used for reading. Also in the bedroom...the bedside lamps attached to the wall near the headboard were way too bright and undimmable, and were impossible to move to adequately use for reading in bed. Also, the only seating area in the living room was a very deep couch (which obviously could be used as a bed) but was not very comfortable to sit on. Would be nice if there were at least one comfortable chair in the living room for seating with a light for reading near it. But the hotel was very pleasant and intimate, and well located in a nice area with lots of eating options nearby.

Superb. One of the best (if not the best) boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. All the space is exquisitely designed. The food is glorious but it’s the staff what makes it absolutely outstanding. Yes you can stay in so many other different small, boutique, design-forward hotels in CDMX, but know, you’ll be missing out.
