Good value business hotel

The Riverside is a great value business hotel in a good location in Uddevalla. The building is part offices and part hotel so there is some energy about it. Breakfast is adequate and the environment is good. I would use this hotel again for business

Overall

Value for money for just a sleep for a night and a basic breakfast. Friendly and supportive staff. Close walk into the main street with shops and restaurants. Several companies in the same building with small business.

Shower let the stay down

Well in it's day I bet it was a smart hotel,it needs a bit of TLC but it was budget hotel so you don't have high expectations,but I did not expect a broken shower holder, and the shower screen was not on it's rails correctly and black mold ,it was a good bathroom apart from that and the room was ok

Breakfast only to 9.30 Monday too Friday. Nearly empty breakfast table, no food left at 9.15. Bathroom shower cabinet dirty and broken. Ok distance to center city. Parking cost ok. Only 4 TV channels, Sweden only.

So where to start, order room last year, for 2 days, wanted to stay by the river in Uddevalla. I come about 19 o clock after an 12 hour drive. The hotel was overbooked, so they have transfer me to another hotel in the middle of the city, and they have not given me a single call about this, not Expedia either. So instead of staying with the riverside. I stay in a noisy City street. The other hotel have an bad breakfast, and they dont even clean the room. So never more Uddevalla and NEVER more Expedia.

Aircondition fungerade inte och det fanns inga mörkläggningsgardiner. Förutom själva rummet fanns det inga sittytor varken ute eller inne. Klart sämsta hotellet jag bott på någonsin.

Kommer du efter 16.30 kommer du inte in om du inte kollat din mejl. Där har du fått info om kod till ytterdörr sen får du gissa dig fram till vart du tar vägen. Det står ett kuvert med dina nycklar och rumsnr på receptionen. Ingen AC på rummet. Fönstret gick att öppna på vid gavel så tur inga barn var med. Vår utsikt var över parkeringen så den var rätt tråkig. Ingen frukost serveras. Fanns torrkaffe, vattenkokare, kylskåp och micro Av 4 sänglampor fungerar 1. Sängen var mjuk och skön. Varma täcken, go kudde. Smidigt med en förbokad parkering så det låg även en p biljett i kuvertet. Ingen dyr kostnad för att sova men väljer ett annat hotell nästa gång med lite bättre standard.

Ett jättebra hotell att bo på när man behöver endast en övernattning. Frukost erbjuds inte men det finns kyl, mikro, kaffe och vattenkokare på rummet och Lidl och Willys finns på gångavstånd. Rent och fint och dessutom jättetrevlig och superhjälpsam personal som fixade förlängning av bokningen, när våra planer blev ändrade, trots att de inte hade personal på plats pga helg (reception öppen dagtid mån-fre).

Mycket unga tjejer med en klädkod som inte riktigt passar sig i en reception. (Extremt korta kjolar) De var trevliga men kunde inte riktigt ge någon bra vägvisning eller annan information vi frågade om.

Ok rom med kjøleskap og mikrobølgeovn. God seng. Stor parkeringsplass. 5-6 minutter å gå til sentum. Ingen servering så dette overnattingssteder er nettopp det. Absolutt verdt pengene.

Detta är ett typiskt lågprisalternativ, reseptionen är endast öppen dagtid vardagar. Ingen restaurang, således ej heller någon frukostservering. Men läget var vad vi sökte för vårat besök på Fjårdfestivalen. Återkommer gärna om vi skall på denna festival fler gånger.
