The location was incredible, we were walking distance from the national park trailhead, soft brown dirt roads. The home is surrounded by a desert garden full of birds and wildlife. We actually SAW A HUGE JAVALINA walking back from the national park one evening at dusk (it grunted, and ran off into the underbrush). The host was amazing, such an interesting person, he used to own a famous restauraunt, and he made my wife and me the BEST BREAKFAST WE HAVE EVER HAD IN OUR LIFE, home made natural Arizona fruit cups with homemade cream, corn bread pancakes he invented, chorizo sausage he made. This was incredible, our first trip to Tucson, we fell in love.

Unforgettable experience.
Luxurious. Quiet, peaceful, dreamy. The owner could easily charge $300 a night for this place. Everything from the desert landscape, the super comfy bed, the jetted tub, the graciousness of our host and the amazing breakfast was a five star experience. One of the best lodging experiences we have ever had... and we travel a lot. We saw a coyote and a pack of javelinas while out walking at sunset. Saguaro national park trails are within walking distance of this B&B. What a treat.

Nice Hotel, Great Breakfast
We loved this Bed and Breakfast. Great location, close to the National Forest. The room next to the pool was lovely. The bed was a little too soft but the three course breakfast was great.

Luxury lodging at an affordable price
Where to start? I could go on and on about this place. Suffice it to sat that my wife and I liked everything about the SunCatcher Fine Country Inn; our pleasant and thoughtful host, our spacious and quiet room, the beautiful house, and the unbelievable breakfast, just to name a few.

Our host, John, was wonderful and accommodating!
We usually don’t stay at B& B’s, however, it looked so inviting. Our host, John, was very hospitable. I think the breakfast was the best I have ever had. The room was spacious. The bed was more than comfortable—it was heavenly. Even the Italian sheets were ironed!!!!

Suncatcher's cactus garden embraces nature
The location was perfect for us... The trailhead for the Saguaro East national park was a 5 minute walk, and the beauty of the desert foliage was phenomenal. We really enjoyed seeing this whole area. The Suncatcher's gated compound was amazing and full of art. Although our host, Janos, has scaled back this operation somewhat, the hospitality for the two rooms they rent is beyond compare; these are fascinating people with a facinating property. The bathrooms are huge. The gourmet breakfast will be the best and most interesting you've experienced, guaranteed. This isn't about gooey pastry, it is about good food with lots of great ingredients. Downside? There are limited restaurants in this area, you'll have to drive a bit to get dinner. No fridge or coffee pot in the room, just be prepared. Coffee service starts at 7:30 am, we went bird watching before breakfast. Would we stay here again? Heck yes!

Elegant, luxurious, and blissfully peaceful
A hidden gem at the edge of Saguaro National Park, off the beaten path. Our room was beautifully appointed with very comfortable bed and large private bath. The central living room/breakfast room has roof to floor windows with spectacular views of the mountains and lovely grounds. Janos is a marvelous host and accomplished chef. Breakfasts were amazing! We will definitely return.

Wow!! A real dessert gem!!
We had such a lovely time, I almost felt guilty coming home after a visit with my son, a student at U of A. My husband and I, recent retirees, came out to Tucson from San Diego to visit our little biochemistry major. As he had classes most of the day, I chose this bed-and-breakfast for its proximity to Saguro National Park. The bed-and-breakfast couldn't have been more lovely with breathtaking views and incredibly comfortable surroundings. Then inn keeper, Jonas, was friendly and attentive. He made the most fabulous breakfast, spoiling me and accommodating my husband's diabetes. The stay was so enjoyable, I almost forgot we were there to spend time with our son. If you go, be ready to enjoy a big breakfast and to schedule time for a hike in the incredible national Park just a 5 minute drive.

Great Tucson experience
This was so awesome!!!! The owner John greeted us and was so welcoming. The experience was personal and warm. Great décor. This beautiful place is about 3 miles out of town- far enough to have great stargazing and a desert experience but close enough to be convenient. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Best place we have stayed in a very long time. STAY HERE if you can!

Lovely B&B on the edge of Tucson
Suncatctcher B & B is set out in the country surrounded by a desert plant filled garden. Janos, our host, was delightful. Extremely welcoming and interesting to talk to. The house is filled with interesting artefacts with a huge living are for both eating and relaxing. The bedroom was very comfortable. The garden was excellent for birders.

Peaceful retreat with mountain views.
We stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was absolutely magnificent both mornings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we took advantage of the hot tub in the morning. Would definitely stay at Suncatcher Inn again.

The Best Place To Stay In Tucson
It was exactly the experience one would want when staying in Tucson. The Inn was off a dirt road with the full property fenced in for safety from the wildlife. The lights were always on in the evening and that includes inside and around trees, walkways, etc on the outside. It felt safe and cozy. The gate was operated to open by pushing a button to drive in and out.

Absolutely Marvelous Inn
This Inn is one of the best places I have ever stayed. I can't recommend it more highly from the charming rooms, serene location and wonderful staff and owners. Everything is perfectly crafted for a warm and romantic stay. The breakfast is to die for, organic, inspired and wonderfully prepared. This place is better than any 5 star hotel.

Private, Peaceful, Charming Bed n Breakfast
We liked everything about the Suncatcher Yanos is a fabulous host and a gourmet cook. The breakfasts he served we simply delicious and huge. Our room was large so very comfortable. The entire house is decorated with great taste. Lots of interesting books, paintings, and furniture. Very near to the Saguaro National Park, the east entrance. Wonderful views to the mountains. We hiked everyday also went to Karchner Caverns and don't miss the Sabino Canyon for the tram ride up the mountain and great hiking trails. After a full day of hiking and exploring it was heaven to return to the Suncatcher.
