On arriving at this hotel outside impression was OH & it definitely went down hill on reaching the front desk as I apologised for us arriving early & was told our room was not ready but to WAIT __ well we waited & waited in the end we were told to go to the village & in an hour it would be ready __ off we set back in the car after travelling for hours to get to mt Vale came back hour later room was STILL not ready to cut ling story short this hotel needs refurbished & the PLUS taken down as I hardly slept due to SMELL in the room of " wet dog" yes pet friendly hotels are deadly _ a hotel should set aside rooms for guests with pets as it's a sickly smell guests may love their dogs smell but guests who don't have pets with them when travelling should be given a fresh smelling room bedrooms with carpets & pets do not work .

Very nice place to stay with Great service

Clean and quiet - good break fron the road when passing through. The night shift front desk attendant was very kind and I found her very knowledgeable and helpful.

Valemount was a brief overnight stop, but this hotel was excellent. Bright, comfortable, classy and with an excellent onsight restaurant. Just what we needed.
