The staff was incredibly polite and accommodating - I got there a little earlier than standard check-in time, and the concierge offered to look for a room that I could check in to at that moment, rather than storing my luggage. However, I chose to wait until check-in, as I wanted a higher level for my room. It can get a bit noisy outside, as the hotel only goes up to level 13, so you hear a lot of the city. That being said, the bed was comfy, cleaning staff came in every day and replaced towels, new water, and such. Also, it is an incredible location if you are visiting from outside of Vancouver as the metro is a 5-minute walk away, with cute cafes, restaurants, and sights nearby to explore. I had an amazing time in Vancouver, and I do credit half of that joy from my great experience at this hotel!

During check in the lady on reception was very welcoming and upgraded our room with us being Expedia VIP members. The hotel itself was beautiful although we didn't get to experience the rooftop restaurant/bar as it was closed for 2 weeks. This would have been handy to know. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated although space was limited to store and open full size luggage. Location was perfect for everything we intended to do during our 3 night stay in the city.

Well-appointed hotel in downtown Vancouver
Our recent stay at the Azur Hotel in downtown Vancouver was great. The hotel is well located - close to shops, restaurants and a couple of SkyTrain stations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room and the lobby were very clean. We enjoyed breakfast in the Dahlia restaurant - it was very tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

We enjoyed the stay. Property is new so it was nice. We had small issues with the room but overal, it was a nice room. The bed is a little too soft for us. The gym is 1/2 block away from the hotel but it is much nicer than having a small hotel size gym. It was an actual gym with a big indoor pool. It is located about 18 minutes walking from Robson St. I will stay closer to Robson St. next time.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful! Tonya, Mandhir, Akash and Alex were all phenomenal! This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Staff were friendly, great at suggesting restaurants etc, and easily accommodated any requests we had. I will definitely be staying here next time I am in Vancouver!

The location was spot on- super close to soo many eateries, within walking distance to public transportation AND shopping centres. Brandon- the concierge rep was amazing, immediately made us feel welcomed and like royalty! Wish all the staff had his charisma and openness- sometimes we felt like staff were too busy or checking us up and down because we didn’t fit the profile.
