Horrible motel disguised as bestwestern.

This hotel is a scam. The first night's check-in was just like any other hotel. On our return the second night, they did not clean the rooms, and when we asked, they sent someone to take everything from the room out to clean, but they never brought any sheets, blankets, or anything back. When we went to the front desk to ask for bedding, they said we could either put up with this or leave the hotel at our choice. We had four kids with us, that we rented a room at another hotel, and we didn't have the money to rent for all of us. We returned to this place and slept without a blanket and reused our towels for the next three nights, being 1000 kilometers away from home. Half of breakfast item are missing and you have to ask for everything.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times (usually around Christmas) and I always have a pleasant stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are always clean and comfortable and the breakfast (which is included in the cost) has decent coffee and a good variety of food choices. The only thing that I would change is the laundry products used on the linens. They are strong smelling and I have to bring my own towels and pillowcases (allergies) and wash my hair and all of my clothes multiple times to get the scent out.

The staff at night checking us in definitely wasn’t the friendliest but we put it off as maybe they were having a bad day..? Property was conveniently located near the Pitt Meadows athletic park, and the reason why we booked this hotel however the facility is old, rooms are not sound-proof, AC unit very loud, dated amenities and coin operated laundromat was very inconvenient. Staff were not very helpful and took a long time to attend to a smoke detector that needed a battery change. The facility is not well taken care of and the room had cracks, scratches and marks all over the walls and floors. Linens had a bad smell and towels were old. The breakfast was ok. Free parking was good.

Good hotel for quick stay.

Good hotel for a nearby tournament. Not fancy, but good breakfast, pool and location. Sheets had some stains and found someone’s dirty sock in room. Otherwise it was comfortable.

It is not BW Plus

The room provided to us had a gas stove and we smelled of gas. So we asked the receptionist to help us move to another room. She was happy to check and switch us to another room it was smelly. As we needed the place for just sleeping, we took it and stayed there. Some odour persisted inside the hotel. We couldn’t figure out why. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. I missed to see this is not BW plus. But the price wasn’t less though even though I booked several months ahead.
