We stayed on the concierge level and the staff was OK. When you entered in to the dining area sometimes they wouldn’t even look up or acknowledge you. The food on the concierge level was amazing and also the restaurant Notch 8 was very good. The housekeeping was terrible. When we got there, there was blood on a pillow, so we threw it on the floor and then the next day it was back on the bed that was made with lumps all over it. The bathrooms are very small. The toilet is about 2 inches from the glass, stationary shower door. It was located in a very convenient location. Close to everything.

The property was in good shape, has plenty of charm and the staff was wonderful. The drawbacks: -parking lot- I got a $100 ticket while I waited to get checked into my room. During the check-in process they give you something to scan and pay for parking. I paid when I got up to my room. I wasnt fast enough. -lots of addicts and homeless in the area. Chinatown and Gastown had even more. Sad

We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for two nights on our way to Whistler with my family, including my two sons (14 and 20), and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a classic and elegant charm that perfectly reflects the city’s character. The location is excellent—right in the heart of downtown—making it easy to explore nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. The service was outstanding, and the staff was very accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable, well-appointed, and perfect for relaxing before continuing our trip. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to anyone looking for a luxurious and well-located stay in the city!

An Excellent Overnight on the way to Whistler

A Grande Dame of a hotel. A little dated in places, but the rooms were great and the beds comfortable. The staff was also very nice during our short stay. Right in the heart of downtown. Not waterfront, however, so if that is important go to the two other Fairmonts that have water views

Our one night stay with Fairmont Hotel Vancouver was fantastic, great location , it’s a grand old historic building, beautiful and luxurious. We had a relaxing stay even only one night. Room is very spacious but the washroom is a bit small. Very clean, comfortable room. A big jar of water is provided, nice tea bags, coffee etc. I forgot to bring toothbrush with me, it’s provided at the request. Excellent staff service, thank you.
