You know what you’re getting into with this property. And I think everybody does the best they can. And my experience is really good even though I have a noisy non-air conditioning room. Let me know upfront and I made accommodations. Fun spot. Five stars.

The staff were very helpful. Should have noticed before I booked that there was not an elevator. All rooms were on the second floor. Not good for seniors with lots of heavy luggage to get up lots of steps. The staff were very helpful to bring it up to us, then the sweet lady who came to clean the room helped us get it downstairs. The road noise was also very loud.
Ultra safe. Hotel is clean, staff very pleasant and helpful. Tikki bar appears closed, and brewery menu very limited, closes at 9. Parking limited. Now we used drive service to get to downtown, great price. You may be turned off by the location. We planned on being downtown, so it worked for us. Waldorf had great safety precautions.
There is no elevator and no assistance available to carry luggage to the upper floor. The room itself is very small, outdated, and not well maintained. The neighborhood feels unsafe, and even the hotel staff discourage guests from spending time outside the premises. While this place may be acceptable for those on a very tight budget, management should be upfront about these realities instead of misleading guests with polished photos of the lobby and the brewery next door.

Convenient to cruise port. Very outdated, dirty carpet decades old, rough part of town, most homeless I’ve ever seen, noisy, thin walls, no elevator and had to drag bags up stairs. Overpriced! $180 for a very low grade hotel.

I guess the property is old and it can get some work around the housekeeping. No doubt everything was there but it can use some better sheets and towels.
Comfortable, updated and clean room and front desk clerk is competent and friendly. The bad issues are that there are no elevators, it was difficult to shlep our big suitcases to the top floor and road outside was incredibly noisy all night long.

One of few reasonably priced hotels I could find in Vancouver. She's not modern, but the Waldorf does have its throwback charm.
Bed mattress was old and saggy. No box springs. Must’ve been 20+ years old! The shower had cracked tile & moldy caulking, Located in the worst part of town according to the two Uber drivers. The hotel lobby door is locked 24/7! My room had an old-fashioned keyed deadbolt lock. Didn’t feel very safe. This place looks like it was built in the 60s and never updatedThe worst hotel I’ve been in over the last 30 years!
The loveliest of staff!
No issues with booking.
However, not very nice or clean for the price (but guess that’s just how things are these days?). Hairs in bathroom, bathroom sink very slow to drain (needs snaking!), and weird rumbling noise in room (AC?) that made it hard to sleep. This was room 115.
I couldn’t believe this Hotel was advertised by Travelocity!!! Pictures on the website was misleading, very unsafe, homeless and drug seeking persons surrounding the Hotel. I was not going to put myself and my husband through this nightmare. The Receptionist was the only Nice aspect of this hotel and understood the reason for me and my husband wanting to leave. I booked another hotel right there in the lobby and was in total disbelief regarding the surrounding area of the hotel, lack of air conditioning, elevator and the price ($280 & $150 deposit) being charged by Travelocity. Worst Hotel “Ever” and Deserves a Negative Zero Rating!!!!!
Nice staff, the rooms had smoke odors, we had to change rooms. Very loud off Hastings TV control wasn't working, so the volume was stuck on LOUD oveall OKAY bed seemed clean and towles were clean
