It’s ok.

Offers aromatherapy. Even sent me an email prior to our stay to have it ready for us. But it never eventuated. Room was large. Was difficult to get the heating cooling right. It was very slow to warm up or cool down.

Overall my stay was pretty good. The bed was comfy and the sheets were silky smooth. I always love a robe and slippers. Location is great, very walkable, close to every type of cuisine you might want, and a fair price for the room. I was surprised that they didn’t have a bar or restaurant and there is no dining room service. Also, I could hear everything happening in the hallway from inside my room. I recommend asking for a room away from the ice machine. Small detail, they show a Dyson hairdryer on the website but I didn’t have one in my room. All in all, I would stay there again with different expectations (and better research! ).

Property itself looked the part. It’s is in walking distance of a lot of things downtown. One issue we came across was with one employee giving incorrect information regarding our deposit on the phone prior to arriving which was offsetting. Upon arriving and expressing the frustration regarding the situation it seemed the staff member was trying to convince us we had the wrong hotel etc. The whole thing seemed a bit discriminative like the staff member didn’t want to help or see how the wrong was on them for providing incorrect information.

This was my second time staying at hotel blu and it was just as good as the first time. Love going to the sauna and pool as its never too busy. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and easy quick check in. Will be staying here again and hopefully the exercise bikes are ok to use next time as they are out of order right now.

Wasn't super busy during the time we went so the costs for the hotel were a bit cheaper. The staff we super nice and we ended up showing up to the hotel at around 11am to see if they could hold our bags as check-in was at 3pm and they actually already had our room ready and allowed us to check in right away which was super convenient. Their facilities were great, and their pool is also adults only after 9pm which was nice, but I don't know how enforced this is as a family with 3 kids did come in at 10pm. The rooms were nice and comfy. I would definitely book this hotel again.
