The house was lovely, with dark wood floors and marble kitchen counters and ensuite bathrooms. The woman in charge was available for check-in, but not really around enough to answer questions about the area and accommodation. It was a cross between a small hotel (without anyone at the front desk) and a BnB (without breakfast). Guests were able to store food in the frig and cook it in the kitchen.
The house is in White Rock, not Vancouver, with lots of stuff easily available for people with cars, Without a car it was difficult. The closest place to get coffee, for example, was the nearest hospital, a ten minute walk away. The description included sights within an easy drive, not an easy walk.
