This is by far the coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and it’s in an amazing area. Oh, and the staff are super friendly and helpful as well!

The building itself is very cool, but the carpets were absolutely filthy and the towel hanger in the bathroom was just kind of there, not being supported by anything when I went to take the towel off. It pulled the whole thing off, and it looked like somebody had tried to fix it several times and wasn’t successful. I chose street side room and it was quite loud. Lots of people yelling. The location was great for what I needed it for.

No One told us there was a sky train track and station behind the Hotel and our room was at the back of the building facing it. We got no sleep for both nights! The air conditioning unit which is in the window was poorly installed and you could see air around it which added to noise level! It was so noisy !.Ugh They didn't replace the coffee for the Keurig coffee maker the second day! Towel Bar in the bathroom was rusty, toilet seat was loose .Overall a bad experience!

This is a really cool hotel, with lots of character. Everything you'd need for a restful stay. The room I stayed in was at the back of the building and above a skytrain station, which meant you could hear the training coming and going throughout the night. I was fine with ear plugs (provided in the room) but if you're a light sleeper you might want to pick a room that faces the front.

Older property, but kept fairly well. The room was not fancy but was clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet despite being on a main street. There is a common sitting area outside the rooms, so I suspect that it may be a bit noisy if people were using it. The restaurant/pub downstairs had good food at a decent price. All-night front door attendant made me feel secure. Skytrain station is nearby and the waterfront park is a short walk away.
