It was very quiet. My stay was during a cold spell and the room was cool even with the heat cranked up. Staff gave me an extra blanket. One thing that I did not like was people smoking on the walkway in front of of my room at night. He slammed the door going in and out several times and the smoke seeped into my room when I was trying to sleep. It should be a no smoking area.

Very cute building. Rooms were small, but perfectly adequate if solo/couple travelling. Hotel is right across from St Paul Hospital, but recent changes made the area feel more safe. Walking distance to a lot of major downtown neighborhoods, and close to Canada Line/Expo Line train. Bus stop right outside makes for easy access to Kitsilano
