Old and in much need of upgrades… Way too expensive for the quality of hotel… Also, we had a late flight in and had to find our own transportation to the hotel… That being said, the staff was friendly and helpful

Fine for very basic accommodation for a night before or after a flight when you want to be close to the airport but not great for much more than that. Rooms are clean but very basic with old fixtures and shabby carpet and cheap linens. The hotel has been bought out by Best Western but hasn’t actually rebranded or been updated at all yet (the old signs have just been pulled off the walls). Maybe once the transition is complete they’ll upgrade a bit. There’s a nice park just behind the hotel that’s well lit even at night to walk, and the hotel is very convenient to the airport.

Very difficult to find the correct shuttle from airport, since hotel has changed name too many times. “Vancouver Airport Hotel” is too common a name.

We picked this priperty as it lead us to believe we could park and fly and they offer a shuttle to the airport. This is not rhe case. You cant leave your car there, although they do have a shuttle. Desk clerk was friendly. Explained the policy better and offered to refund if we wanted to try another hotel. We decided to stay. Room we were given, had a musky smell, bathroom was in dire need of repair. Looked like someone tried to quickly paint over mold, paint peeling.. felt like i booked a 50$ hotel room rathee than the 350 i spent. Asked the desk clerk for a different room, she came and viewed ours and wasnt sure if she could give me anything else. Thankfully they gave us another room that was way better and more alomg what was expected based on pictures and what i spent. Staff was friendly dispite the room issue.

When we entered the hotel at approximately 10PM, the first thing you see is water rushing from ceiling at check-in desk. Ceiling tiles on floor, ceiling exposed. Desk clerk doing best he could and after his manager/ owner arrived the owner was a real negative gentleman and blaming everyone in the area. Very unsanitary conditions One we got to our room 220, the bed sheets and blankets were old and no elastic to hold on to mattress. Very bad experience and would not stay there again. Bruce Baldwin
