Nicely appointed, fairly roomy, and great parking. Verandah with view. Interesting mountain stream onsite. - NOT in Varenna. This is 20 min away in Fiumelatte - There is NO Internet, so ensure you have local cell data - No window coverings, so you may be waking with the sunrise

Quiet, great views, parking, secure, and nice welcome package. No Wi-Fi. 25 minute walk to Varenna for some people can be challenging.

The apartment itself was nice but the location was disappointing and very misleading. It is in Fiumelatte not Varenna. Fiumelatte is a very isolated place not on the Eurail pass list or the main train route. There are no shops at all for getting snacks or supplies. The patio is not private as it looks in the photos and it is not directly on the water as it also looks in photos. The pullout bed was not a real bed and the room was extremely noisey at night. There was no wi-fi as advertised. The maintenance person offered another wi-fi access code but the reception was so poor it couldn't be accessed. The TV could not be plugged in as it required an extension cord. The only extension cord was also needed in the kitchen for the jug and microwave which was impractical. I would not recommend if you want somewhere with something to do. It would be a great place if you didn't want contact with the world.
