Host clearly enjoys hosting and goes above and beyond to ensure all is as perfect as can be. Handy location to a variety of restaurants and shopping. Quiet area and huge beautifully manicured property. Would stay again.

Marataba is different from other safari lodges. First there are only two lodges in the whole park which means no crowds. Game drives where incredible with Big 5 viewings, but specially one of the 5 (won't Say for conservation issues) is everywhere. The mounitain and the view just makes this place magic. Staff Will do everything in their power to make You feel like Home.

Great location and very vibey. But suffers from the usual lack of communication between staff as well as lack of visible genuine professional enthusiasm of staff who just seem to be going through the motions and who couldn’t care less about the guest experience. Breakfast is a joke and poorly executed with no quality checks. Nice menu but poor delivery. Also there is a chronic long edit for the lifts because the hotel had about 10 different side functions - speak easy, gym, offices, etc and three tiny lifts. I stayed when it was Voco and now Hyde. Still needs work on service delivery / especially at that price point. Managers need to set standards and oversight and not always just apologise when the guest experience is not optimal. You can and should do better.

The staff are amazing…friendly, helpful and warm. We loved the beautiful gardens and terrace off every room. The food was excellent too. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

lots of complaints 1. No hot water when i went to shower on second morning 2 here were no towels to take a shower despite asking reception for them as i had to attend a wedding function 3 No hand soap to wash hands 4 Only plus food is halal

I had an excellent stay at Melrose Place Boutique Hotel. The staff, hospitality, ambience, location, security were all top notch. I will be back!

We booked the luxury suite. It was pure awesomeness. The decor was wonderful. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We love this hotel and would live there. At night the quietness of the golf course makes the hotel stay quite peaceful and serene! Also this hotel is located in a wealthy homes neighborhood. There is also gate security at the hotel so there is no doubt we would stay at this hotel again and again.
