It is a fine property. It is older and is currently undergoing renovation. There are materials and containers in the parking lot which makes parking tight, but it will be a temporary issue. Standard breakfast buffet fair, but the dining area is also tight. We needed to take our meals to our room as there was no seating available.

They were doing construction on the floor we stayed on. There was construction material all over the hallways, very unsafe!!!! They started construction in the room across at 8am, you could hear it. Not the most enjoyable stay.

The good: hotel is being upgraded before it becomes outdated. Staff are conscientious. Included breakfast is above what hotels in this mid-range generally offer. The mattresses on beds were very comfortable, sheets and linen were spotless. The not-so-good: on the busy Friday evening of a long weekend in summer, only one check-in staff so tired guests had to wait in lineups. No maintenance or housekeeping staff were on hand to deal with problems. The mattress on sofa bed should have been replaced ages ago - we basically slept on springs that caved towards the centre. (The checkout staff was authorized to credit me 10% which softened the blow. The water in hot tub and pool was very chalky and opaque on Friday night.
