Parking check in is a hassle. Room was advertised on Expedia as having a separate dining area, a stove and toaster. Stove does not work, no toaster, china, silverware or pans very disappointed as we wanted to cook breakfast in the room and eat light snacks.

If you’re looking for a convenient location close to attractions the Bedford is the place However amenities are minimal for example hot water takes minutes to kick in, only four channels on tv to choose from, just above club so music is going all night, there is no mirror in the bathroom and stovetop is available but no pots or pans to use. This place can easily be a five star venue with a little more thoughtful touches but until items are addressed I’d only use it for a quick shower and to crash.

Good sized rooms, few scratches and chips around the rooms. Staff was good despite a few issues with the booking data. When ships make port their horns are audible in the room with the windows shut. Overall, I'd stay again.

Vintage rooms but clean and easy check in and check out. Great location! Only down side was that the sink was outside the bathroom and more “kitchen” style so hard to use for brushing teeth and such.

Birthday getaway.
We have stayed at the Bedford before but not in the same type of rooms. The configuration of the deluxe queen was not great. The room was too hot even with the window open. We know the hotel is older but it really shows its age. The parking arrangement for weekends and after 6 pm is very inconvenient. The pipes were constantly groaning and kept us up most of the night. Not a very good stay this time.

The hotel is very clean and is perfectly located for town sightseeing and restaurants. We liked the old world charm of the building, and the room, which had a wood burning fireplace, although we were not in season to use it. We liked the coffee service, tea kettle, and refrigerator in the room. The evening staff gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner. We had some cool nights and the heating was easily adjustable. I found it very difficult to turn the smaller than marble sized knob to turn on the bed-side lights. My husband had to turn it. The bathroom sliding door was a bit difficult to slide.

Because of one way streets and closures for pedestian walks, access is challenging. Wasted 20 minutes trying to get to the hotel to check in. Also tv service was abysmal.
