The property was beautiful, modern, clean, and their staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in front of the harbour. The stores and restaurants are walkable. A great place to walk around and get to know Victoria. It was a very beautiful and an awesome place to relax and spend holidays.

The Delta Marriot was just what we were looking for. It has things to do when you are not exploring Vic. Restaurant is really good. Staff are great. Played cards in lounge in evenings, went to pool/hot tub. Good gym. Played cornhole. Water bottles available. Short walk to downtown. Water front nice pathways. One star off because our room had a door joining the next room and could hear everything they said and kept us up at night. Need better sound proofing between joint rooms.

Amazing Concierge

The hotel concierge went above and beyond for my family. I was thoroughly impressed with Maria. She made our trip extra special. This is a kid friendly hotel. they have filtered water in the lobby and a Starbucks.

This is a very basic property with poor food service and bar operations and attention to detail. They run the same menu for both lunch and dinner with very little options. Best. It's not an overly friendly handicap accessible property and even lacks benches outside the front door for sitting. The general condition is tired the rooms are basic Marriott rooms with nothing special. At this price point try another property there are plenty that offer way more options and amenities. We will never be back to this property

Beautiful place

The hotel has a beautiful location with a great view. However, one downside was that our window was directly above the clubhouse balcony, where guests often dined. Because of the noise, we couldn’t leave the window open, and at times, people on the balcony would look up and make eye contact, which was a bit uncomfortable. Aside from the room placement, everything else was wonderful and we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Delta is a short walk to downtown and has an excellent view of the inner harbor of Victoria. The sixth floor outside patio was wonderful for group get togethers for our family. The rooms were a good size. It would be nice to have a small concession store in the lobby. The pool area was great, but it gets crowded quickly due to size. The fitness area was well appointed and very clean. The staff were exceptional: always friendly and informative. We will come again!

Loved the location. We did not get checked in until 4:30 pm they kept saying it would soon be ready. The room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke. Some staff seemed aloof and others very friendly.

Expectations met, but could be so much more

As always, top rated service with all the little touches from this great staff. Property is aging well overall, but the room we had felt sterile and empty and didn't do enough to leverage the great view. One gripe - a dirty plate was outside our room in the corridor when we arrived, which dampened the experience. More positives - the club had an excellent breakfast offering and the balcony dining area is exceptional - recommend that.
