This was a great location (lots of dining options in all directions!) and the staff was friendly and helpful (even before I checked in, they were responsive to texts and emails). Given the location, I was expecting street noise, so that did not bother me. But if you need super quiet environment, this is not for you. There was no parking, so we had the park at a parkade a block away. It was not the most convenient, but was not too bad since it is free from 8 pm to 8 am and on Sundays and holidays. We have a 2 BR suite with 2 levels. It was spacious for the two of us and we were able to store our bikes in the room. But the decor is dated without the “heritage charm”… it looked reminded me of dated dorm room decor. Everything was functional though. It has a full kitchen which was a bonus. The unit is quite warm in the evening, especially upstairs where the bedrooms are. We opened the skylight and put 2 fans in the bedroom and it helped a bit. I would suggest placing some quieter fans in the rooms. The bed was also a bit soft. All in all, despite the shortcomings, I would recommend this mainly for the location. It is right by the Galloping Goose Trail, so it was super convenient to bike from the hotel to explore the area.

We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom suites and it was perfect for our family of 5. Very spacious. Amazing to have a full kitchen. We loved the location of the hotel as well. One downside was not being able to park close by. We parked at the Yates parkade, which was a 5 minute walk - not too bad. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Swans. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the location was perfect. There are so many amazing restaurants and shops nearby. We had a lovely visit and hope to come back.

The hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly. We would stay there again. One issue we had was we had 6 people and they only had enough dishes for 4. You should put more dishes in to accommodate the number of guests.

Great location in downtown Victoria - walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and the harbour ferries are just down the street to get to the other side of the harbour. The in-suite kitchens and the terrace made for great, late afternoon relaxing before heading out again at night

Our two bedroom suite did not have exposed brick or wood or nice art. It was straight up 1987 and a little down at the heels, though some of the furniture was nice quality wood and the beds and linens were very comfortable. Poor ventilation (and no AC) so it was not that comfortable on the sunny summer days without open windows. The windows did open but the idling traffic and buses outside were very loud. Also, the “full kitchen” has only salt and pepper packets, no cooking oil or spices. There is a toaster. 1987 fridge froze our soy milk on the bottom shelf. There also were not enough dishes or silverware for our party. And the TV did not work for casting. HOWEVER, the staff were friendly, patient, and went the extra mile to bring us what we needed and help us be comfortable in the space. The location is right near all the fun shops and the Centennial parking garage is a great option for parking. Once I got over being disappointed about the appearance of our suite, I enjoyed the stay and I’m grateful for how well it suited our needs on our family vacation.
