Nice Hotel but very low security

Beautiful Hotel, however security is very low the hotel had no one at the front and after returning to the hotel around 1 am was very disappointed to be greated with an unlocked front door, no staff or security in sight, the elevator does not use a key card scan to acesss the floor or parkade and room have nothing but typical dead bolt on door. This left not only us but our vehicle at risk. Highly suggest the hotels improves their saftey and security. The hotel rooms and facilites where nice a bit worn but nice, however I also have to say I wasnt impressed with washrooms cleanliness as the sink in bathroom was so pluged it filled just washing hands and the hand soap container had neeeded to be wipped off as it had dried soap stuck to end. The staff was fabulous very wonderful check in and was very happy to see such a dog friendly and prepared hotel, we did not bring ours but saw a few with theirs and lots of things to spoil your pup with! We ultimately enjoyed our stay but wouldnt consider staying again unless security changed.

No one attending the front desk. Had to wait an hour to check in , Right at dinner hour. The restaurant was closed our entire stay. Staff Christmas party the first night and private function the second night.

Poor water pressure as in it took 45 minutes to shower and rinse shampoo and soap( horrible), sliding door and dresser drawer broken, they had plumbing issue one day and my water ran rusty was u/a to use tub, called front desk and she said "the plumbers said it would take awhile" and to run my water which I did for 2 hrs, no kidding 2 hours. I watched an entire movie and still rusty. Half the staff was friendly, few seemed like they hated their jobs. Nice view in my room from balcony with broken door. You have to do your own dishes before you leave or they charge you and Expedia stated sound proof rooms, ABSOLUTELY not sound proof, person above me was loud stomping and maybe moving chair around and could here everyone in hallway. Was walkable to alot of sites which was nice. Not sure I would stay here again.
