Our room was located in the basement beside the laundry room. Absolutely terrible, no natural light and obviously no view. Terrible accommodations.

Room was large and clean. Bed was small but comfortable.

Dvele Inn is one of the most delightful places we have stayed. The house is beautifully furnished, comfortable, quiet, and clean. Its amenities are ample, including a library, dining and conference area, honor bar, and lobby. Breakfast boxes are delivered to the room each morning, showing up outside the door magically. The property includes ample parking and perfect walking access to all of St John’s key sites. What a gem!

I had reserved 3 nights at the hotel based on picture, description and reviews. What was not stated by anyone was the fact that the hotel wasn't maintain properly resulting in a rodent issue which is a health hazard. On my second day, I stayed in my room to work and saw a mouse running in my room twice. I have a picture and video of it. When I pulled the dresser from the wall to confirm it was a mouse, I was able to see 2 mouse traps hiding underneath the dresser (took video and picture). This confirmed that the hotel knew they had a rodent issue. I went immediately to the front desk and asked to change room. They were fully booked and couldn't move me around, and had no one on maintenance that day either (week day - Wednesday). I asked for the manager to contact me to see what could be done about my stay. The next day (Thursday), I saw the mouse again in the morning and maintenance showed up. They did confirm they knew about the issue and offered to come back as soon as they could buy the proper foam to block the holes where the mouse was coming in from. Management still didn't contact me that day. Friday, I left at 4am to go back home and management still didn't contact me. Once back home, I contacted Hotel.com to for a resolution was given 15% refund offered by the Hotel itself as my stay was now over and $50 credit from Hotel.com for the inconvenience. I will never stay at that hotel anymore and will not use Hotel.com again for not taking a health hazard seriously.
