Staff will do everything to make sure your trip to Visby is a wonderful one. We had a personal emergency come up and the hotel owner sprung into action to make sure we could handle the situation as smoothly as possible from Sweden. Excellent breakfast included with gluten free options, room was lovely - old touches like stained glass and exposed brick wall but also modern, and the location was two turns away from the tourist hub, so it was quiet. The courtyard is lovely. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on Gotland island.

Enjoyed the superb hospitality of Hotel Helgeand Wisby. The hotel building itself is filled with the characters. Visby was definitely the highlight of our trip.

This is a beautiful property. It is hosted by Tobias and Ulrika. They are a lovely couple, very devoted to the guests. The rooms are large and comfortable. It is a very quiet spot, and very restful. I cannot say enough good things about the hosts and the property.

The hotel is very unique with some parts of the structure dating to the 13th century and decorated in a rustic medieval style. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic and the owners very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

I really liked staying at the oldest part of the hotel from 1200 century. It gave my stay a kind of a mystic feeling about it all. So much history from this place and the city as well. The kitchen was clean and very intimate. It was as if I was back in those times sitting there.

Truly recommend
Lovely small unique hotel with friendly staff and a lot of things to choose from at breakfast given the size of the hotel. It’s located fairly close to the church so with the windows open during summer you will hear the church bells in the morning.

Charming hotel in a great location!
The hotel is charming and very personal in a great central location. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly as well. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden with home baked breads and home made marmalade, looking at old ruins. The only downsides were that our room was rather small, and my partner kept walking into the bed frame. It was also facing right into the parking lot with rather frequent people traffic.. Considering the price, we would have expected a little more..
