Witfield Vacation Packages

It was a very good night stay . Spacious room, modern bathroom with huge shower. Friendly and helpful staff. I had a bit of trouble to check in , bells were not working on the entrance gates (concealed entrance, busy street) but after phoning, all sorted out. Well located

Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Check-in was confusing since I received no prior instructions, and despite arriving after the 3:00 PM check-in time, I had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finished up. Later, I was granted an extra hour for late checkout (12:00 PM) because I was unwell, but management failed to notify staff. Housekeeping knocked at 11:00 AM and again at 11:30 AM, completely disrupting my rest. On top of that, the 6-digit access code repeatedly malfunctioned when trying to exit the building and parking areas. It’s a great property, but management urgently needs a centralized communication system.

This is my second time here. Thumbs up for it being clean this time. But for a 10 sleeper, the crockery is a let down. One pot, one pan-which makes making breakfast a challenge. Baai-no braai bak. Honestly don't think there is enough crockery, cutlery for 10 people. The WiFi didn't work. No swimming towels, had to ask. Communication with reception/reservations is a challenge. I arranged for the interleading room to be opened, they moved the beds. Leaving a whole room open unused with no bed. I was told strictly that beds not allowed to be moved? We arrived, deep freeze and fridges was off. For the price you pay, just stock up or fix the little things. Make sure everything is ready for the guests without having to ask each time for something. No umbrella for the pool, previously there was. I am not saying don't go there, it's really a lovely getaway from the city life. The place is stunning, it's relaxing and peaceful. I will go back again.

Clean room and good breakfast

The place is good but staff are confused and the advert also should in your face show that its lodgings and not ideal for a solo traveler with unfriendly staff as well as being too far away from everything. Place is clean fit to have a car and be with someone. Staff transfer their fears to you and as solo you wonder also they are on guard for thieves when you are a client . Looks do indeed deceive
