Big bathroom. Loved the option of room service and towel service.

Front desk admin wasn't the friendliest. Bathtub was not clean. And a small thing to some but a big thing to me... They don't take cash. I'll stay at The Best Western next time I'm in St. Johns

Simple, nice place to stay

The place is so cluttered with stuff and rooms full of oversized furniture there is nowhere for the guests to put their suitcases, personal belongings in the bathroom or on bedside tables. The owner felt the need to interject herself in all of our conversations, at one point yelling across the room interrupting our breakfast. She had a persnickety attitude and kept insinuating the problems we were having with the door codes to get into our rooms were our own, when in fact we were given the wrong code on 2 different occasions. We understand things happen, no problem, but her attitude was very off putting. The place itself is beautiful, they have done high quality renovations and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing I have to say. If you are an empath or energetically sensitive- steer clear. This is not a place you want to subject yourself to.

A nice location, quiet and a clean room. Staff at restaurant are very helpful. The only issue was the lack of space to store your clothes. There are a few hangers and hooks but no dressers. There were a few shelves.
