The staff is friendly and welcoming. They had suggestions for nearby hikes and dining. Breakfast at the Inn is delicious. We sat in the common area in the evenings and visited with other guests, sharing our day plans and travel tips.

This was our 4th time staying here. It felt dirtier and more worn down than usual. They look like they’re in the process of repainting outside which will be nice. The staff is always so kind and friendly. Our room was clean, but dated. The bathroom had mold spots on the wall above the shower stall that appeared and grew in the 4 days we were there.

Coffee in the lobby was outstanding.

I had booked in advance. Was asked to leave due to my pet. Still figuring out how to get a refund. But that's only my experience.

Bathroom floor stays wet. The shower water sprays onto the toilet, toilet seat was broken- didn’t even use. Smelled of mold or wet dog? Extremely over priced. Turned on heater but it couldn’t even heat the unit as it was too small. I will stay in Crescent City or McKinleyville next time. Horrible wi-fi that you couldn’t access 75% of the time. Very disappointed.

We had a nice stay at Crescent Beach motel - we had free coffee, tea, drinks and snacks during our stay which was great! The bathrooms need some updating, as well as better pillows (personal preference really). Other than that it was a lovely cute stay! Be prepared for the noise - can definitely hear the highway, anyone walking outside of your room, and thin walls (earplugs were provided btw can find them in the nightstands)

I hate giving poor reviews but want to give an honest heads up to other travelers. Crescent City has some rundown areas…this hotel unfortunately felt very unsafe. I was told to park under one of the lights and that security was there overnight to monitor the property but that cars could be vandalized. There were some individuals wandering in the city itself and in the parking lot (several appeared to be under the influence of substances) and in the back of the property under my window. The room itself is dated with old bed linens. LOTS OF GNATS. I stayed on the 3rd floor and the window was unlocked and cracked open. Lots of noises/arguing in other rooms and in the hallways at all hours. It was concerning enough that I blocked the door with furniture. I finally got up a left at 4:45am.
