The gentleman at the counter was super nice. But the rest of the hotel.. where do I begin! The motel looked more like a run down extended stay vs a hotel. When I walked into our room the light blinked like a dungeon movie. The carpet was wet from the A/C unit. The pillow cases looked like they were dirty and dingy. The shower didn’t look like it was clean there was soap scum on the walls. The door frame from the inside looked like it had been taken a beating. I had to pay a security deposit that I have yet to get back. We stayed one night and we’d never go back.

This hotel was perfect. It was clean, all staff were super friendly and helpful.

This is my to go place to stay when I travel to Ames IA. Have been staying here for over 10 years. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The lady at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Every morning she greeted me with a “good morning” and helped me with any requests. The hotel was in a good location as we were traveling for an event. Close to a Walmart and Target, along with a Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, and McDonald’s nearby. If we ever come back, we will stay here!

This room comes with no parking! The parking they list is unavailable. Construction is happening all around, and parking is scarce. My daughter swam in a meet starting at 7:30 am When I woke that morning, my car was towed. I had no idea where to find it. When I called the number listed, they were not helpful at all and told me it was my fault. I finally noticed a "Crow Tow" sign with a number, and sure enough, they had my car. Several people in the area told me this was a scam. When I returned later, they were towing another car. $230 a pop, unless you pay cash; then 200! The next day, I had to park 4 blocks away on the street. The mattress was gross; I had to buy sheets as there was no top sheet. BEWARE!

Just a quick overnight stop. Place was fine.
