Amelia Court House Vacation Packages

Booked room thru Expedia. Expedia charged my card $158. Get to hotel. They say room is booked but they only received $38. They said I have to pay the balance. I left. Still awaiting refund.

We overall found the room to be decent, and a pretty good reflection of the price we paid, however in the morning before leaving we turned on the bathroom light and 2 cockroaches went scurrying.

Just fine for the money. Lobby was clean and the staff were all kind and super helpful. The elevator door seems to malfunction when it opens on the third floor shaking the entire elevator which was a little worrisome but it did operate. The vending machines were out of order. There was a leak in the ceiling in the hallway just outside our room with a bucket under it and water all around it. It stayed that way the entire 3 day stay. The room had water spots on the ceiling and we could hear noises throughout the night. But the bathroom was clean and the room itself seemed clean.
